    Overview

The Froth Flotation Machine is a core mineral processing equipment designed to separate valuable minerals from gangue based on differences in their surface hydrophobicity. By introducing chemical reagents and air bubbles into the pulp, our flotation machines effectively recover fine-grained and complex ores such as copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver, molybdenum, and various non-metallic minerals like fluorite and phosphate. It is an indispensable solution for maximizing metal recovery rates and achieving high-grade concentrates in modern concentrators.

    Working Principle
The flotation process begins with finely ground ore pulp entering the tank. Specific reagents (collectors, frothers, and modifiers) are added to render target minerals hydrophobic. Inside the tank, the impeller rotates at high speed, creating a vacuum to draw in air and disperse it into millions of micro-bubbles. These bubbles collide with the hydrophobic mineral particles, attaching to them and carrying them to the surface to form a stable froth layer. This froth is then mechanically scraped off as the final concentrate, while the hydrophilic gangue remains in the slurry and is discharged as tailings from the bottom of the cell.
