The treatment method of “bloating” in the ball mill

Although the methods of dealing with the belly are different due to the different grinding process, the nature and reasons of the belly, but no matter what the reason is, it is necessary to stop feeding the ore first, and then carry out the necessary measures according to different situations. For open-circuit grinding, as long as the feeding water (back water) is appropriately increased after the feeding is stopped, the ore material is slowly discharged from the grinding machine, and the bloated stomach can be eliminated and returned to normal. For closed-circuit grinding, since the ore feeding is composed of two parts, that is, the original ore feeding and the classifier returning sand, only the original ore feeding is stopped. Since the returning sand is continuously fed into the grinding machine, it is still not conducive to eliminating the phenomenon of bloating, so it should be done as soon as possible. To reduce the amount of sand returned, the specific method is: close the front water (the mill discharges the ore and add water) to increase the back water, reduce the amount of water fed into the classifier tank, in order to improve the classification quality fraction, and a large amount of ore material is discharged from the overflow to reduce the amount of sand returned.
Due to the increase of the feeding water, the mass fraction of the ore in the ball mill can be reduced, the fluidity can be increased, and the discharge of the material can be accelerated. People summed up this method as a jingle: “close the front water, add the back water, increase the concentration (graded concentration) and return to the sand”. Sometimes in order to reduce the amount of sand returned as soon as possible, the classifier can be temporarily lifted by the spiral, so that the sand returned material is “temporarily stored” in the classification tank, so that the distention can be eliminated faster, and then slowly put down when the mill returns to normal (note: do not too fast to avoid overloading the classifier with a large amount of ore “temporarily stored” in the tank). When the belly is seriously distended, that is, when it is “swelled to death”, high-pressure water can be injected into the mill from the feed port or the discharge port to loosen and dilute the material in the machine, discharge a part of it, and then increase the water to accelerate the discharge. For some closed-circuit grinding processes composed of sieves, there is generally an accident pool. When the belly is seriously distended, the coarse ore can be temporarily stored in the accident pool, and then pumped back to regrind after returning to normal. In the case of severe abdominal distension (such as “pulling forward” and “pulling back”), after the treatment returns to normal, the grinder should be stopped and the necessary inspections should be carried out: whether the spoon head falls off or is loose; whether the feeder is loose; whether the screws are Whether the shearing and other parts of the grinding machine are damaged.
