How to use the roller dry magnetic separator

The CT-400 permanent magnetic machine is a dry-type high-intensity magnetic machine. Compared with the general electromagnetic machine, it has the characteristics of light weight, high output, low power consumption, less vulnerable parts, and easy operation. It is mainly used for the selection and separation of minerals with magnetic difference such as titanium iron ore, chromite ore, garnet, quartz, and feldspar.

Structural overview

This machine is mainly composed of ore feeding device,permanent magnetic iron-removal roller, high intensity permanent magnetic roller, frame and electrical controller. The machine has the advantages of a compact structure, stable performance, easy installation and convenient use and maintenance.

 Installation

For newly installed or relocated, regular inspection of the electromechanical parts must be carried out to check whether each part is damaged, loose, damp or not.

Grounding wire shall be properly connected according to the usual procedure.

Place the magnetic separator horizontally and secure it in place.

The RST of the frequency converter is the power input line, and UVW output is connected to the motor. The controller’s knife switch is installed with a 100A air knife switch, and a three-core cable for power supply. Make sure to connect the ground wire properly.

 Operation

The dry material is screened and then loaded into the feeding hopper with a particle size requirement of less than 4 mm.

Close the knife switch to supply power to the controller.

According to the mineral particle size and the requirement of selection, the speed regulator is adjusted to the appropriate speed.

Open the feed handle to make the material evenly fall on the iron-removing roller.

When the feeding amount is constant, the beneficiation effect can be improved by adjusting the position of the ore-dividing board.

Stop feeding before shutdown

Operation attention:

(1) When the raw material contains less magnetic mineral, the feeding layer should be thicker to improve the recovery rate. When the content of magnetic minerals is high,

the feeding layer can be thinner.

(2) To process magnetic minerals with strong magnetic properties and select magnetic minerals, the motor speed can be increased. To process minerals with weak magnetic properties, the motor speed can be reduced.

(3) During the operation of the magnetic separator, strong magnetic tools and items should not be close to the magnetic system.Do not knock, collide the magnetic separation roller.

Maintenance

Keep the surface of the strong magnetic roller clean. If there are magnetic items, they should be removed in time.

After replacing the triangle belt, the shaft sockets at both ends of the roller should be put back to the original position, and the left and right movement of the roller should be centered on the

trapezoidal ore hopper in the middle.

The magnetic separator cannot be exposed to the sun at high temperatures and rain.
